I am no Egyptologists but I don't think people lived in the pyramids I thought they were for burial of kings. But all those construction workers would have definately need some Porta-potties. Ha ha One odd thing in history is that the castles of Louis the 14th and other king in France had these insanely elaborate castles with the best of everything ....but did not have toilets and it was actually a real problem of people going all over the place. One would have thought they would have copied the Greeks ....

Actually castles did have toilets and they even had indoor ones and yes even toilet seats with seat warmers. People who would sit on the seat before the upity ups would need to go to the restroom. : ).watched this on the history channel on tbn. They would even warm stones to make the toilet area warm in the middle of winter/sort of like a bed warmer.in one story i watched they actually had working toilets that flushed, but not like we have today it was more of a wash out/clean out type deal.

Yes I think what I heard may have been a problem with versilles or a particular castle one can imagine the porblems in a castle without plumbing the royals were taken care of but it is still a mess affiar for the caretakeers .....I find the scolarship on some of the histrory channel productions lacking at times. Too general and not specific enough to be accurate at times often it isn't wrong just said in a way that can be taken wrong. But what was the gist of the Egyptian question.

Hmm, I didn't know that but it makes sense. How about this for an answer: No they never went to the bathroom, which is why they all died. Just kidding

Maybe they didn't have a room to go to, but, i'm sure they had some kind of system in place. A hole in the ground perhaps?

Not in the pyramids they didn't. : ) . A pyramid is a burial tomb .not a building where people lived except for slaves that were put inside to die with the royalty to serve them in the afterlife(at least that is what they believed).

THEY NEVER WENT PEE OR DUMP. AT THAT TIME IN HISTORY, PEOPLE DIDN'T HAVE TO.
Like in old Roy Rogers & Gene Autry movies when they woke up out of sleeping bags, they never went for AM pee-pee.
