Myself personally? I'm not sure there's too much I could do to improve the status quo in any country.
On the other hand, India is a wonderful country that I'd really like to visit one day, and if someone offered me the challenge of trying to make it a happier and more prosperous place, I definitely wouldn't turn it down.
My knowledge of Indian society, politics and economy is pretty limited, but as a layperson these are the areas that strike me as having room for optimization:
- Distribution of wealth
- Corruption
- Unemployment levels and the need for a
- Growth of the tourism sector
- Increased diplomacy and ties with regional powers
I won't go into too much detail (partly because I'm not sure I've thought my manifesto out properly yet), but as an outsider these seem to be areas that have a high potential for improvement, and have the potential to directly impact standards of living, thus hopefully making everyone a little bit happier.
If any of you agree with my points, perhaps we could all start a campaign for me to hold some sort of consulting position to the Indian government?
