Yes, I think China will overtake US as the world’s biggest superpower. China has already became the biggest economy and would soon overtake US. Because of their surplus budget, they are investing huge money on the defense sector, research and development.

it depends really on whether the majority of chinese people know english. if they do then there is no point in learning mandarin but if not than mandarin would quickly become a must learn language
