Hopefully Ray, I'll be dead before any dire economic situations squash my way of life.
What do most American people think about being overtaken, economically-speaking, by China in the next couple of years? Will it change your life? The world? Will things be worse for you personally?
I won't really care. Historically speaking, before the Atlantic colonies swelled the European economies, China was the strongest economic power on the planet and yet it worked out for most people. I'm not afraid of a strong China. The people that should be worried is the guys in charge of the Chinese government. There is an interesting philosophical question to be asked about Chinese politics and their rising capitalist economy. "Now that China is growing a free market....are the people in China going to want political freedom to go with their economic freedom?"
It makes sense. China has 4x our population and if you think about it, they should be way ahead to sustain themselves. Will those billion of people enjoy the same quality of life and benefits your average American citizen enjoy? Not even close.
So what if their economy is bigger? Doesn't really affect me much. Everyday will still be the same.
All part of the New World Order take over of the world as they want to cut the world population down to 500,000 made up of Chinese and Japanese since they have a higher work ethic than we do and work longer hours and harder than we do but the world is running out of food and supplies so something has to happen but I agree with you in that hopefully we wont be around as itll be more of a robotic world
