From our perspective, we'd say, "Yes." Simply because of a desire within ourselves to appear as the good guys. I am no Iraqi, but I'd have to say that it would depend on the person. One Iraqi may support the Taliban to receive financial blessing with them, so he may discourage the involvement of U.S. Troops. Another may not support the Taliban, and encourage our involvement because his village receives a consistent barrage of terrorism.
