I have a question about why culture is ordinary, Raymond Williams mentioned that "culture is ordinary", but I really don't know what that means.... Could you please give me more examples to explain it by using film ,TV, pop music,advertisement ..etc?

I think what he meant to say is that culture is common among different countries - no matter how different each country is, they are built on certain ordinary building blocks. Every society has educational institutions, health institutions, religious institutions. Do you see what I mean?

Culture is dynamic and complex but the foundation remains the same, certain things are universal.
