I work in sewer maintenance on some days! You come to the hospital plugged up and you leave flowing freely....that's what I call sewer maintenance!
Why don't more women complain about inequality in industries like trash collection or sewer maintenance where there is only men?
The discussion between male/female and it's inequality is about "Involvement and payment" Now, you named these jobs, you don't know if there's only males into these industries, there might be female as well, how many places you checked and been into ? How many areas ? And how many people you've seen ? 10,50, 100 ? There's a thousand of areas and locations. You can't know it for sure. Females also get into these kind of jobs as well. But cause you didn't seen or heard of them, doesn't mean they're not there.
This discussion created so many aspects which so many of them are really wrong and created by overreacted people!
A man is man and a lady is lady, it's not in level of a lady to be in such places. And if they want to be, it's not bad, they can be if they want to or mostly when they have to, cause usually not much people would like to work on this places by will but it exists and somebody gotta do the job and it deserve respect as well, i say this because of the people who turning this into (smart women not want to be there) if i have to wash toilet to feed my family i will and i will proud of it, now call me stupid,idiot, uneducated or not smart or any verses you feel for!
(However i know your question made people to react like that cause it sounds a bit challenging)
And if we want to talk about more female involvement in these jobs, for now, we have other things to focus on, so many other jobs that female not being treated equally whether in payment or involvement, so whenever those other jobs turned equal (which they are a thousand of categories) then we will consider the jobs you named as well.
In construction it is a BIG problem, I have women working for me that are treated with distain, and looked down upon as trouble makers trying to start turmoil. The Guys I have making those acusations are actually the ones that are making the problems.
Because these feminists you hear about don't care about equality. They don't care about being treated the same way men are or having to deal with the same things men are. They want special treatment. They want superiority.
It's also the same reason why you hear so much about not enough female heroes but never anything about not enough female killers in movies.
