Generations have passed since Stalin, and the young people know only what they have been taught in school. And what school would teach the negatives about one of their leaders. Nobody else is around to tell the students otherwise.

In a post last week I referred to Putin as a Stalin-wannabe. I think such a museum is confirmation that he wants to get back to the glory days when the USSR was the big, bad bear that could show its teeth and send a ripple of apprehension -- if not always fear -- around the rest of the world.
