Has anyone ever pretended to be a government worker and stated that certain conspiracies are real just to see how conspiracy theorists would react?

What would be the point?

It's not like it would convince them the conspiracy is false, because a "government official" said it was true.

Even when actual government officials have come forward to confirm juicy conspiracies ... They never bring the paper trail evidence to back up their claims.

Duh, to troll them. That would be the point.

You don't "troll" by agreeing with someone's opinion.

If you wanted to "troll" them - you would disagree with them.
