IDK what is so special about 4th of July. I am british (does that make a difference?) but is there something I have missed out on or forgot?

Happy 4th to you as well! I usually like spending it with family but this year we are a bit spread out and others are working. So it is going to be a quiet day at home. I hope tonight is quiet as well, but after last night, I doubt it. Both my dogs were in Thundershirts. Arabella was in my lap and Skully was in hers.
Get drunk out on the lake and then watch fireworks :)
Staying out of harms way. People are friggen crazy on holidays.
I'm here in America. We had our own rockets and firecracker fountains last night, and it was pretty awesome.
