My newest culinary blunder was yesterday morning. This is no lie! If I had a camera rolling I'd probably be a millionaire on that show "REAL worst cook in America!" 😅
So I'm doing breakfast cuz Yang got the day off. He came in to help me so I didnt have to touch the meat. (😅) He tries something new with the left over ham. He "fried" it in pineapple juice thinking it would be a little juicier. It's warm and bubbly. He takes a bite, says it's good. Then turns to me and says "You can take it out of the pan." Then he moved back on to what project he was working on. In the time it took me to pick up the tongs which was right by the pan and grab the handle to steady it... I literally watched the pan turn black in a matter of seconds. I didn't even touch the food and I burned it! I JUST LOOKED AT IT! 🤔😲😤😬

I guess microwaves deserve a national day. I'm in again..

~  make a doughnut -like hole in the centre of the food before nuking it.  Cooks faster and evenly. ~

Do you remember the first microwave you ever had? Mine was a Montgomery Ward "Box", it was huge and weighed a ton. But it was cheap for the time. I put a 22lb turkey in that thing for 38 minutes then I was to brown it in a regular oven. When it came out of the microwave it looked and smelled so terrible we ditched the turkey and had hot dogs for Thanksgiving. LOL

This sounds like a good day, i would be loss without a microwave but i support this day for the other things to that it stands for St Nicholas and Miner's Day I'm in for it all.
