When your baking a Turkey for Thanksgiving , What temperature and how long to bake a 14 lb ( pound) Turkey?

I hear that you bake the breast part of the Turkey at 500 degrees for 30 minutes than you place a cover on the breast and have the legs of the Turkey facing the oven part and put it on 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hour.
