It's a great day and I am especially in for the "Record Store". Except for one or two "ethnic record" stores I believe the day of the record store in this state has passed. You buy records at department stores and "the five and dime". Now in the "ethnic record stores" some bits of old gold can be found if you have the patience to look for it. I once found a Patsy Cline album and a Platters' album in their original jackets and the cellophane had not been "cracked". Costs me $2 each.
Is today your day? It is April 18th 2020 National Animal Crackers Day, National Columnists’ Day, National Lineman Appreciation Day, National Auctioneers Day, and National Record Store Day.
The only record player I had was a Smurf record player! 😅
What a nice day! I love to listen to auctioneers, and I practically lived at our local record shop when I was young. And I also have fond memories of animal crackers! I'm definitely in!
It's a good list today. I'm in.
Guess I'll have to go with animal crackers as I don't even know where any record stores are at!
