Today is my day! Devil Dog Day and Prime Rib day, oh my.
Devil dogs were a long chocolate cake shaped a like a "hot dog". They were produced with a cream filling going horizontally the length of the cake. They were a mass produced snack. It may sound gross now but back then it was the thing to do. You ate one just before returning to school after lunch break. But, you packed as much of the cake as you could on the roof of your mouth for an afternoon "sneak snack".
Prime rib, what is there not to say......?
