The English Civil War affected many peoples lives because they lost loved ones and family members, they sacrificed their own lives to be able to stop the war. Many people were on Parliaments side which means the war got ugly and the went on for longer.

Hope this helped?

More English people died in the English Civil War than in any other war. This meant that many people lost loved ones and the manual labour would have been decreased dramatically because of the lack of workers.
