Well, theres many ways immigrants help the U.S. They help build the places you are living in, they cut the grass you walk on, and they are the ones that give the food in schools to all the students. They are the ones the clean the school. Yet, after this list they are humans and have a right to have a chnace. They come here to progress, make money, and try to have a bette live. They should be an inspiration for all the people in the streets. You don't see no imigrants in the street begging for money. Do you? People int he steet even having there papers they still waste there rights, but imigrants don't come to waste there time they come to make the best of it. "What do you prefer give a chance or do the work?"
The United States is known as a nation of immigrants since 1930s. 12 percent of the total US population or another way to say it would be 34 million out of the nation's 288 million people were foreign born. These immigrants migrated to the United States for many reasons: family, to find better economic opportunities, to escape persecution or simply to get a new start. Immigrants in US have helped and are still helping the country economically in more then one way.
Immigrants are a substantial segment of the labor force since 1990s. No. of immigrant labor worker force is more then 21 million. The word immigrant conjures up an image of unskilled laborers but it is not true. Many immigrants are contributing highly to the corporate and business of the country in public and private sector. Immigrants have formed companies with venture capitals, in high tech industry sector etc.
Some of the famous US based companies formed by foreign born citizens are Intel Corp., Google Inc, eBay Inc. and Sun Microsystems.
I am an immigrant myself.... I been here for the past 20 yrs, fished school got a degree and has a good paying job can't complain...but I do complain for those people that are illegal immigrants, immigrants that finish their university( university, that they pay out of pocket because they can't get financial aid!) and can't get their dream job due to there illegal status. This country takes advantage of illegals like other countries as well but as illegal immigrants, they pay their income tax but never get any type government help or even social security or any type compensation. Also those illegals that spoil everything like gang members, junkies etc., I don't have respect for those people and because of those we the Mexicans are the blame for closing the borders and considering us minorities...WE are HUMANS just like white, blacks, Asian and we try to survive day to day to live the American dream!
The taxes from US immigrants/ citizens is one of the so-called 'help' that the people is giving to the government.. And as return, the government should protect their citizens and provide something for their benefits as well - jobs, education, free local services, etc.
Look at hoa many kids of illegal immigrants are in our schools I'm in california and our budgets are through the roof to help these people that arnt even suppose to be here learn english on your dollar I hope you enjoin give your money to people who break the law what next giving stuff to people that shop lift
