I feel the poor, the elderly and in some cases minorities will always fall between the cracks so to speak and at the height of deinstitutionalization, these mentally ill patients may not have gotten all the attention and time they deserved.
Things are much better now, as we as a country have gotten better at handling all types of mental illness and concerns.
