Helen of Troy was the daughter of Zeus and Leda. She was the wife of King Menelaus of Sparta and sister of Castor. She is largely considered as a figure from Greek Mythology.

She was born in Sparta after Zeus chased Leda in the form of a goose. She was kidnapped by Theseus and Pirithous and was rescued by her brothers in early age. After her marriage, she left her husband for Paris and this event made the beginning for the Trojan war.
