The Romans invented the calender, roads and many more.
Romans invented ROME!!
The Romans made many inventions used today, although they would usually improve on older ideas instead of make their own. The Romans invented paved roads, man made aqueducts, and the dome, used in many buildings today. Things they improved off of are concrete, baths, and plumbing systems.
Concrete, the hypocaust (central heating, first used in villas then spread to public baths), Aqueducts, Senate (upper house of parliament), Paved Roads (all led to Rome),
Romans invented many things like concrete and the arch and even spas they also invented complex road systems
The candle
Gongs and domes
Domes
Early day air-conditioning was established in Pompeii and was then know as evaporative cooling. People would often have a fountain in the courtyard and door from the house opening up into the courtyard. What people would do was on hot nights they would leave the doors onto the courtyard open and when wind came through it would be cooled down by the cold water of the fountain. How clever is that!
The romans also invented straight roads!
Shut up you piece of crap
The Romans also invented the hypocaust, which was a system of central heating using steam passing under the floor.
Domes RULE!
