Title IX Refers to the federal law for prohibition of sex discrimintion against students and employees of educational institutions. It was passed in the government of Jimmy Carter. It was campaigned and written by Congresswoman Patsy T. Mink. The basis of her campaign were the adversities she had faced while obtaining her college degree at the Universities.
