Where Did The Enlightenment Happen?

This movement was started in the countries including, Britain, France and Germany and it extended to Europe including Russia. This movement was particularly related with the French people because they were ignorant and in the age of enlightenment, a great change happened in their cultural life. There is no exact date of enlightenment but most of the scholars believe that it was happen in the early eighteenth century or in the middle of seventeenth century.

The enlightenment happened in europe and america. It started around 1700 and ended around 1789. The idea of the enlightenment was that people were ignoring tradition and following logic and reasoning.
