Two things shape a person, their personal genome and their personal environment.  This has been studied a lot (and still is) by observing natures natural clones ,identical twins, who have been separated at birth. These 1 egg twins have the same genome  and so any differences they show are environmental .
Also studied a lot ,are fraternal twins, who do not share the same genome but share the same environment ( their nurture) as children. This gives valuable info. As to what extent nature or nurture shapes a personality.
My own opinion, for what it is worth, from much  studying  of the subject is that nature plays the largest part .certainly 60 per cent!
