Thomas Jefferson was the author of the book “Declaration of Independence”. He introduced the concept of Self-government and strongly believed in his own principles and believed them to be right.

His greatest priority was Education that is education for the democracy. He believed that education was necessary for development and for building a common identity. He saw the future in a way that by getting education, the new generations would be able to take charge of their own affairs and govern themselves for the centuries ahead. He believed that education should be for the masses and irrelative of their social status, wealth, race or birth circumstances. His view of the future was an educated society choosing their own government and getting their rights.
