Interesting question. I guess I would say it has to do with the adult and the parent. Each parent and adult is different. If you are not a responsible person and don't discipline your children then your children will probably grow up not knowing too much about discipline and maybe take after that parent. I think you need to be responsible to be a parent and bring up children. Good question.
