That sounds awesome! There are lots of things you can do with a carnival theme, so luckily you’ve got lots of choice.
Food
Food
- Candy apples
- Cotton candy
- Corndogs
- Nachos
- Popcorn
- Soda and slushies
- A carnival-themed cake
- Face-painting
- “Strong man” or test-your-strength game
- Clowns (this might seem childish, but they'd be there to create a carnival atmosphere more than anything else!)
- Magicians
- Dancers
- Decorate your tables in carnival colors – that’s red, blue, and yellow.
- Use flags or bunting
- Lots and lots of helium balloons!
- You could have a carnival dress-code, and maybe even offer a prize to the best-dressed!
- You could give out carnival-style flyers or tickets instead of traditional invitations. If you use tickets, you could then have a ticket booth in your backyard where your guests have to exchange their tickets for party hats or party poppers!
- Why not host a masquerade ball?
