When we lived in the mountains we always cut our own tree; any type of pine tree has such a great smell!  We have a "fake" tree now but it really looks REAL!  You actually have to touch the branches to see that it't not.  And I burn pine incense or burn pine scented candles...♥

Got to be real, and it has to be a douglas fir. They smell just wonderful, we do have a fake, but I hate it, and it doesn't smell like Christmas.

Sorry, but it's fake for me too....easy and pretty.

I love to visit friends who have real ones, though.

Blue spruce for me! It ain't Christmas without a good smelling real tree and a little mess!  And besides, when I was a kid, we'd gather all the old neighborhood trees to make a Xmas Tree Fort!  What fun!

I use an artificial tree a 7 1/2 foot because i put it up in October and take it down late January or early February.

I’m all about the real trees, you can’t beat the smell and I’m a clean
freak so don’t mind hoovering up the needles. This year it’s artificial
though because Dorothy is allergic to pine and much as I love a real
tree it’s probably not worth killing my landlord. Also. They’re freaking
expensive and I’m eating dust at the moment in an attempt to save
money.
