I think the power should be distributed among the people. Power corrupts and  those in power make enormous amounts of money and feel a sense of entitlement.  However, they are not doing what the people want. They didn't even read the first Health Care Bill that they tried to dump on us.
Their strategy is to drop  all kinds of issues on us (which they are paid to solve) try to keep us dummied down, as evidenced by the crummy TV and shows that have no value. They figure by doing all this, we will become apathetic, tune out, and they can do what thay want. - And don't forget  about the billions they spent OF OUR MONEY, to special interest groups,- that weren't able to do their jobs to begin with! Wonderful! They got away with treating us like slaves and mindless idiots for so long, they think they can pull it off forever! I think we need to let them know that they are going to have to start working for us, not vice-versa!

No, can't trust that to work, they say 'absolute power corrupts absolutely", so, I would stick with that when it comes to running a country. Look at all the other countries that have had one ruler, and all the corruption that came with that. Sad.

No. A resounding No. People with power and no-one to answer to, become corrupted. Put a person in power, that can not profit in anyway, that must show a daily tally, that is ordered to show with all transparency, and you might get an honorable person, that runs the country with no hidden agendas. You can't even trust your local government.
