Does Africa Have A Bright Future?

Only if they import (or grow their own) bright people.

If they get lightbulbs for their huts!!!!! (Get it? It is a joke)

No, they don't have a handle on rape or AIDS.  Not that we do either.

No, they are going to get and even harder crunch in economics.
They have economic hard times because of there stupidity.

We had a wonderful future, we had so much money and so much of everything else.  Even through all the years that the rest of the world banned us, we never felt it because we didn't need them, we had more than enough of our own and we knew how to run our country and everything in it, after all we build this country from nothing, there was nothing here are we brought industries, mining and many other things to this country.  We gave the African people work and showed them what this country could do for them, everyone had a life no one suffered.  As soon as everything was wonderful and all systems were running on 100% they decide to take over and in 15 years they destroyed what took us 100's of years to build up.  Yesterday they actually announced that we are officially without clean drinking water and still the Minister tried to threaten the people who speak out about this.  We are dying not just of Aids but of water pollution and we wanted to declare it a state of emergency and what does the Minister say no, there is no crises three months later and some places have no running water.  Our electricity is the most expensive in the world.  Last year they've put our bills up by 45%, this year in February another increase of 35% and then again if they are not happy another 40%, they will never be happy.  All the qualified people that use to know how to run all these things and industries had to go to make place for the African people, now they can't do the work and don't know how to fix it.  Contract have to go to African people and they pay them and work never gets done.  People that can't even spell their own names are in Leadership positions but what are their words "You don't need to have a degree to manage".  The Government took some farm away from the white people and gave it to African people to run, oh yes they ran the farm, they ran it right into the ground and now farms that use to make millions of Rands a years has become squatters camps and we now have to give them free water and light, wonderful country I life in isn't it.  Luckily Im still one of the fortunate people that are still able to leave this country and will be saying goodbye to this Godforsaken country in less then two months.  To my beautiful country I will always love you but would rather remember you the way it use to be and not what you have become now.  Hope that things will change because I will be the first one to come back but I have no more hope for this country

If they would stop all their infighting they would have the brightest future especially with solar power. They could have everything along with farms/farming fresh water wells.they could be a very productive/self sufficient country if they would start introducing these new technologies.they have everything they need to become manufacturing and farming country.
