Mark Twain once said: "fewer things are hard to put up with than the annoyance of a good example".I think with the politicians it's a classic case of maintaining self-interests at the expense of representing their electorate or constituencies. They seem to be more interested in re-election and courting lobbyists, while The USA is in recession with unemployment, high interest rates, inflation and foreclosures are all impacting on the country. They can get around this lack of knowledge by relying on the party aides, PR staff and speech writers to help them out.

That''s the way it's been for decades and more. --- Need to use your Mark Twain quote. --- It's a good one. --- Leave it up to a foreigner to quote one of our greatest authors.

Because they don't care enough about there Country, or the citizens to give a damn, about the constitution. All the self righteous self indulgent hypocrites care about is there-selves.
