20 years ago, here in the UK, halloween was a date in the calendar, and not a cause for any sort of celebration. Now there will be loads of kids (and parents) who have bought rubbish costumes from their local discount shop. Some of them will turn into beggars on my doorstep this weekend. Horrid for all concerned (apart from the shops who got to sell the rubbish costumes).

That I can not celebrate it as I did when I was a child, because of my beliefs and what it is associated with from the bible... But I can still eat candy. : ) When it's cheap for a few weeks of the year. Just bought some reese's cups, kit kat bars and m&m's. : ) and the kicker is I am allergic to chocolate. : ) Hahahahaha.

I have a friend who is allergic to chocolate:) Well, I guess dairy products are not good for the body for some since they can be lactose and tolerate.

The idiots of the world that give out bad candy and here in Florida our stupid legislature now allows Pedophiles to pass out candy to kids that by law theyre not allowed to be anywhere near. Our country would be so better off without Politicians for sure, and itll take another 20 years to figure out this one

That it's only a holiday for students and schoolkids and that we don't get off as well.  It means rolling in home from a fancy dress party at 5am and then having to get up 2 hours later - grrrrr.

Hmmmmm..... I personally love Halloween, I think it's fun that it's the one day the whole year we can be whoever (or whatever) we want :) but I don't like the fact that people go door to door and beg for candy.... And the fact that a lotta people poison the candy! Last year my sister's boyfriend (before he became her boyfriend) found a needle in one of his pieces of candy. That's disturbing!
