20 years ago, here in the UK, halloween was a date in the calendar, and not a cause for any sort of celebration. Now there will be loads of kids (and parents) who have bought rubbish costumes from their local discount shop. Some of them will turn into beggars on my doorstep this weekend. Horrid for all concerned (apart from the shops who got to sell the rubbish costumes).
It should be outlawed estecialy penny for the guy when all i see is an old spud sack and a head the size of an orange with no face,
That I can not celebrate it as I did when I was a child, because of my beliefs and what it is associated with from the bible... But I can still eat candy. : ) When it's cheap for a few weeks of the year. Just bought some reese's cups, kit kat bars and m&m's. : ) and the kicker is I am allergic to chocolate. : ) Hahahahaha.
nothing I try to make the best out of it . Tomorrow I am going to buy a scary movie and get some pop corn and just have fun and enjoy this day you know? I mean were allowed to have fun and be happy right?
That it's only a holiday for students and schoolkids and that we don't get off as well. It means rolling in home from a fancy dress party at 5am and then having to get up 2 hours later - grrrrr.
