Did christopher columbus discover mexico?
Christopher columbus was given credit for discover new land he was the frst to step foot on land
The new world (the Americas)
Although Christophor Columbus THOUGHT he'd discovered the West Indies, he'd actually found the continent that would later be known as the Americas. This is to say, he found what would go on to be known as the United States, and that portion of land which the US resides is also physically connected to Canada, and to Mexico, which is a part of South America.
I think the only thing that Cristopher Columbus discovered is just how fickle a Government can be. He may also have come to the conclusion that to practice nepotism, steal and prosper, will make you many powerful enemies. He was sent back to Spain in chains to face allegations of mismanagement, stealing from the crown, and numerous spurious and possibly invented accusations.
He was the first european (besides the vikings) to discover america. No, he did not discover Mexico or Haiti. Why would you say Haiti?
