There are two types of power sharing in the United Kingdom. The first is the former Westminster coalition government between the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats who came together to form a stable government following the 2010 general election. The other example is that of the Northern Ireland government where all the major parties have come together to argue (successfully since 1998) that Northern Ireland should have the right to decide how money that the province gets is spent.
