A evil, crazy dangerous and hateful person threatened to kill me many many times from the age of 11 to 17. At the age of 17 the crazy person put a .357 Magnum to my temple and threatened to blow my brains out because I had forgotten to say Good Morning to her. I moved 900 miles and never looked back.

Crazy fool shot my brother in the leg.

I have some guns I keep in a gun safe and I'm not crazy at all. Well....maybe a little but they haven't been shot in years. Bad ears now. But, I don't think guns make people crazy, I think crazy people make guns crazy ! Mix the two and you have violence and insanity. Guns should only be in trained hands and kept safe. I've been dealing with guns for almost 45 years and with proper mind set, they are as safe with me as you could ask. I've seen up close what guns can do. Training and safety and proper sales and gun crimes will go down.

Well there are a few kinds of crazy associated with guns. First you have those that are "gun crazy". They own a gun safe the size of a closet and it is filled with all kinds of arsenal. These people are generally a bit crazy before guns ever enter the equation. However in their defense, they are generally well educated on the proper handling and upkeep of their weapons.

Then you have the "anti-gun crazy". These people generally have never even held a gun and have no true gun education. They are fearful of something they know very little about it. It is tantamount to a child being afraid of the dark.

Then you have those who are just plain crazy and have access to guns. These are the people who give gun ownership a bad name. And many of them don't even own the guns, thy steal them. If they do own them, they do so illegally.

Most gun owners are law abiding citizens. I do think there needs to be more gun education. Back in the day, up until the mid-70s many schools had gun clubs and held competitions. My brother-in-law was a competitive shooter for his school.
