I just read about it and agree. Sounds a lot like a book I just read called : Liberty's Last Stand. I'll support it ! How far it goes ? Time will tell. Just signed on also.

I know about it for a long time, but learnt about the book just now! gonna order it in the first chance. hopefully Amazon own it on their list.however about the project, i'm so doubtful if i should support it or not. checking their each update and participation mostly on their Facebook which is connected to the website that you just shared. there's a lot. many people with crucial political roles directing the movement. and they gather participation from citizens of each sate. i followed most of the details but yet not pretty convinced. completely unsure. so i decided to ask the question randomly to see how others thinking about it!

Oops! this is the first thing that would enhance my doubt! ya know, this is a huge movement! you know, if you check out a TV show called "Jericho" the series is about several U.S cities get nuked, the main story is in Jericho town, slowly more shocky things happens! the history book is getting changes U.S flag changes it;s design and historical meaning. at the end it comes clear, some strong powers in the government themselves, planned a mission and project in the name of national security and used a team of agents to go the half of way, then the real plan comes on they goes off on U.S soil, so they could create chaos and change U.S principles in their own wish.
I can't be sure if this convention not going to be something similar. our current government might be corrupt at some point but yet it's the same Federal Government and we are aware of it's principles! nobody knows who will take charge or what positive changes will happen if the project takes place. that's where my doubt occurs the most.

I agree with the premise and will probably be on board.  Will have to see how the details play out.

I prefer the "Free State Project" ... Where libertarians plan to move to NH, and change the politics of a single state.  Much more realistic than trying to change an entire country the size of America.
