The belated one I had just a few weeks ago. You all made it memorable.
We have a few members birthdays coming up. It got me thinking. What was your most memorable birthday? (Or one you attended. :)
My 31st.
We had a huge party at my favorite venue at the time. It was at a gay club that one of my best friends was working at at the time. At 2:00 am we closed the doors and partied until dawn. I still smile when I think about that night, it was wonderful.
I haven't celebrated my birthday in years since they all end in disaster. The only one i can remember is my 8th birthday party and that is because I choked a girl out at it. I don't attend many other peoples for the same reason. At my cousins 7th? Birthday party, I almost chopped half of my finger off. Not good😂
I was 10 before I ever had a birthday party. We lived in upstate New York, and my birthday is in February. It never failed that there would be a snow storm on my birthday. Heck, my parents followed the snow plow to the hospital because I was born during a snow storm. We moved to Florida about 6 weeks before my 9th birthday, so I didn't know enough people to invite to a party that year. So on my 10th birthday I FINALLY got to have a party. I even got my first store bought birthday cake. It had a clown on top that was made of icing. I don't particularly like clowns, but I wanted all that icing! My mom tried to talk me out of it several times. I realize now it is because she didn't want a room full of 9 and 10 year old all hopped up on all that sugar. Lol
The day I was born.
A nurse with red peg tails dressed in a candy strip
out fit brought me in to a room and laid me down next
to my mother. Then she pinched my check and said,
( I'm gonna steel you). My mother said oh no your not.
Before my mom pasted I told her that and she said,
oh you don't remember that. I said well who might have told me?
There were only three of us in the room, the nurse , you and,
myself. Think of it. Your whole life your recording. Even while
asleep. It never stops.
Fifth grade. Invited the entire class. No one came. My family kept waiting and waiting and no one showed up. All my sisters and brother remember that day well.
The End.
