North Carolina has had early voting for the past week. I took advantage of it this morning. Have you voted yet?

I have not. There are a number of state amendments up for vote, as well county ones. I need to read up on them before voting. I know one is worded so you think you want to vote yes, but when you get to the last sentence of the second paragraph, things sound sketchy. After reading up on that one, it is something everyone should vote no on.

I mailed my ballot in last week. They should have it by now. Hardest election to vote on that I can ever remember but I sure did vote for legalization of marijuana here ! Bout the only reason I bothered to vote.

The ballot is available online and there's not too much "special" going on besides the national election for president and representative--just local races.

Normally, we elect "the peoples' choice, the lesser of two evils" as president.

This year I find my purpose in voting for president somewhat simpler---I cast my vote with the hope of preventing a national disaster.
