What is with trump that we even WANTS praise so bad? Besides being a conceited idiot, is there another reason?

The co-writer of Trump’s book “The Art of the Deal”, and the author of his recent biography “The Truth about Trump”, concurred in a recent article that Trump’s vanity is as fragile as it is enormous. He has famously thin skin; his raging tantrums are becoming legend in the WH as Trump simply has a zero tolerance for criticism or dissent in any form, and absolutely requires stroking and reassurance to prop up his ponderous ego by those around him. We’ve all heard of his demands of absolute loyalty from his appointees, akin to a Mob boss. No doubt why nepotism is so visible (and chaos so common) in his WH. 

Twitter is the convenient, and I submit cowardly, outlet for his punk behavior. In this, we see the worst case of how social media can impose dysfunction on our society. 

Is this not the behavior typical of an over-entitled brat? How can we show Trump isn’t one?

IMO, this (prime among so many other examples we can cite) is not a desirable quality of a leader, much less a laudible trait of an adult human being. Tyranny has spawned from less. Trump is running out of willing (or gutless) lackeys to play on his team. Like so much of the other failure in his brief administration, it’s his own fault, though he will never see it as such.
