They were both similar because the U.S wanted to remain neutral during both of the world wars but in the end they did not.:)))
There ere huge technolgy advancements from ww1 to ww2. In world war one they used ross rifles, mcadam shovels, vickers machine guns, and german howitzer,s. But, in world war 2 the aircraft was presented, also radar. Most importantly the atomic bomb in 1945 made by the unitd states.
