There are countries, such as Australia, which have been involved in war but never on their own soil. On the flip side of that, the only war Iceland has ever fought was a civil war on its own soil. Countries adopting an officially neutral policy today include Austria, Costa Rica, Republic of Ireland, Finland, Sweden and, of course, Switzerland.

The definition for a world war is not that ALL countries are at war or involved somehow. If that were so then we have never had a world war. A world war is loosely defined as a war involving all of the most powereful nations. As you can see it's pretty vague but it definetly does not require ALL countries to be involved. There were alot of countries that weren't involved in any of the world wars yet.
Costa Rica has never been to war WITH A DIFFERENT COUNTRY they had a Civil War
Belize has never had a civil war, however it has a long standing differendum with neighbouring Guatremala. Belize has a defence force and not an army and therefore has never actively participated in any of the world wars. Perhaps a handful of soldiers would have been designated as a Belizean coalition more of as a matter of formality as the Head of State is Queen Elizabeth II
What do you know about Iceland? Now I plan to visit this country https://icelandadventuretours.is/ . I have already made a cultural program for myself. Before my journey I want to find as much information about Iceland to be aware of local traditions, culture and Iceland. I'm waiting for feedback. Thanks!
