He had many wives.   His wives were Michal,king Saul's daughter(I Samuel 18:20-30, II Samuel 6:16,20-23), Abigail(I Samuel 25:39-42), Ahinoam (I Samuel 25:43), ("And David took him more concubines and wives out of Jerusalem ,after he was come from Hebron:and there were yet sons and daughters born to David."   -II Samuel 5:13), and Bathsheba (II Samuel 11:1-27,12:24,I Kings 1:11-22,28-31,I Kings 2:13-25).

He had several wives. The two most prominent in the Bible are Batsheva and Michal, daughter of Saul.
