What Is Two Reasons That Countries Often Go To War?

I think that two reasons why we go to war is:
1.) protection against our nation
2.) because people are stupid think that violence is going to solve all our political differences and debates.
Oh and because sometimes we are prejudice of other countries and other countries are trying to tear us apart!

For power and freedom are two reasons countries go to war.

Well the two main reasons you see today, that countries go in war for are;
1. To accumulate more and more land.
2. To save their integrity after there is no other way to go.

1. To aquire a needed item that can not be obtained in another way; an item too expensive to buy commercially.
2. To demonstrate the might of the nation against another, with a political or social cover up.
