It depends on what is actually considered the Holocaust. Was it persecution? Then it began on April 1st, 1933 when the government supported boycott of Jewish businesses took place. Perhaps it was when the first Jew was killed (probably 1933) or on Kristallnacht (Nov. 9-10, 1942) when the whole scale destruction of Judaism in Germany started.
Certainly, from a policy of genocide, the Nazis began killing the Jews en mass in June 1941 when the attacked the USSR and the "Einsatzgruppen" came in after the army and shot Jews, Communist and others.
The final date to consider is January 1942, when the decision was made to kill all Jews via the death camps (gassing). Mass murder completed with industrial efficiency.
The end is certainly mid-1945 though the last victims died after the war ended. They were too far gone to save...

When Adolf Hitler Nazi party came to power in Germany in January
1933,  persecution of German Jews began almost immediately, causing
about half of all German Jews to leave the country before 1939.

942, coinciding with the decision at the so-called Wansee Conference in Jan. 1942, where Reinhard Heydrich had convened all the top SS and Nazis leaders to come up with the 'final solution to the Jewish question.
