Just one country has recently become a member of UNO and that was back in 2006 when Montenegro became a member. Before that in 2002, Switzerland and Timor-Leste became members and in 2000 yougoslavia and Tuvalu were accepted as members. In 1999 the countries to get membership were Kiribati, Nauru and Tonga. Palau became a member in 1994. The total number of members is currently 192 and there have been no more additions since 2006.
