What are the major government spending items that the government has not yet suggested cutting back on to help reduce the national debt? #1: Capitol Hill/White House pay cuts! Do they all really need to make $500k to $1m per year?

Exactly and it appears that all of DC thinks their salariess and perks are off limits during all these cutbacks so no one has even suggested cutting their salaries in half, but someone up there better realize that with more cutbacks, that means more loss of jobs and soon no one is going to work and therefor can't pay taxes and there wont be any tax money to pay their lucrative salaries and benefits, Trickle down effect is becoming a huge landslide real quick

I just layed it out in a spreadsheet... If we cut the salary of everyone on Capitol Hill and The Whitehouse down to a (very generous) $100k/year, That saves the taxpayers five million, three hundred twenty-four thousand, eight hundred dollars per year. ($5,324,800.00) ... Even more, if I cut it back some more.
