If we look at the little things that caused wars in the past we might learn from our mistake.

Veterans are a good reminder of how hellish war actually is.

Veterans are pretty important to any nation's history and future I would say.

Coming from the UK, I guess I can only answer on their history and future, but I think it can apply anywhere in the world.

So, why are veterans important to our nation's history and future?

  • We can learn so much about previous wars from them. Think about how much the veterans have been through! Their stories can help shape the history that generations after them will learn.
  • We will know how to move on. With the help of veterans to tell the nation where we might have gone wrong, we will know how to improve the nation's future.
  • They did a lot for us! Veterans are so important because they protected the nation when times were tough. They deserve to be a part of history and the nation's future!
  • They remind us of the perils of war. Ex-soldiers can tell us about everything that they went through during the war they fought in, and they can give us a chilling reminder of why war is so terrible.
