How does racism hurt people?

I don't know. I mean I read when I was really young about racism and how the term differentiated with the other meaning which was about discrimination based on ethnicity. But what I read was that racism had another meaning that was being able to tell the different genetics based on race - like how the different skulls belonged to various races, so I don't see this scientific racism hurting anyone unless for propaganda purposes. But If we're talking about the ethnic discrimination kind then yes people could get offended.

cool thanks Mr Tito for the lesson but I swear the literature I read claimed of races in genetics,  it was very inaccurate I suppose... Well I guess I should chalk it up as another time that I really should have cross referenced something I read!
