Do you think it's possible for someone to travel literally over all 50 states of the United States including their every single cities from the biggest city to the smallest towns, do you think it's possible?

Maybe. If that was their main goal in life. You'd have to have plenty of finances, time, reliable vehicles, patience as well as being driven and organized. I wouldn't say it's impossible, just hard to do.

I had visited 45 States, visited the State Capitals and had driven through that State by the time I was 13.

I agree, it's really hard and sound impossible! but you know! personally, i would like to travel across U.S as much as possible! actually instead of traveling to other countries! when i get any chances to travel, i wanna observe homeland only and only! It's really nice that you have such experience :)

My family was really into vacationing in the US. So we traveled all over. Although I am grateful for the experiences I wish they had wanted to travel abroad as much. I have also traveled Mexico and Canada. You should definitely go for it. It is beautiful. My favorite places were, New Orleans, New York, Virginia, Maine and both Carolinas.

You know, I've been thinking about your question Matt and I don't think it could be done. Even if you started out 5 years old, you would probably be 95 and still not see them all. Be fun to try though. I'll give you that!

Yea! but never give up! i'm sure it's going to be fun! i'm really attracted to travel across U.S only! the world has so many pretty places but if i decide to travel at anytime! well, U.S has it's beautiful wide geography. so many structures, natures/forests, tourism attractiveness, and local cultural efforts and historical places and museum also wonderful national parks! i would spend my time and effort to observe and study my own country and spend my money here as well! Hope you get along with such tour and send me the experiences ! :)

Thing is for is that I've been to more places around the world than I have in the states !

Every state yes. About 20,000 towns no.

IF you define "visiting" as merely passing through the border of the town ... Yes.  What you would need is a computer algorithm to map you the most effective route, to eliminate as much "back tracking" as possible.
