Not much one way or the other.

I took an oath when I was drafted into the army. To protect the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. That Constitution affords this person the right to make this display and it affords others the right to criticism against this display. It does not afford anyone the right to prohibit this display.

So, I can be somewhat indifferent to this display while knowing it is speech we do not like that is protected, not speech we do like.

That's what is so great about the US. He has his right to sit during the national anthem if he wishes to. That being said, I still hope some defensive player breaks both of his legs during a play.

He has a right to not stand. We all do.

However, he should be using his right to protest against his objections to police brutality in a more productive way. Now the police are not going to be there to protect the crowds during the game because they fear for their lives.

I think he should have chosen something else to show his concerns. I feel this is backfiring on him and his message.

I am not sure if others feel this way though .

I think the "drama king" needs to walk a mile in someone else's shoes for once!
