The United States attacked Japan by using an Atomic Bomb during the World War II. Japan and United States were at war since six months. Heavy and intense fires were dropped at the Japanese army. However, they did not provide any advantage to America in the war.

These atomic bombs were dropped twice. The first one was on Hiroshima and the second one was at Nagasaki. These nuclear bombings were ordered by President Trueman. The first bomb hit Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. This bomb was called the Little Boy.

The second nuclear bomb was dropped on Nagasaki on August 9, 1946. It was called the Fat Man. These bombings drastically changed the scenario of the war. It killed and disabled millions of people.
