It was the women who were employed in the so-called sweatshops of the day.

The industrial revolution changed women's lives because there was so much demand like having babies, babies were much wanted so most women had at least 10 children or more. When women have 10 children or more it kills them on the inside because it takes a lot of energy to have that much children because you need to support and feed them, that takes away your whole day.
